The first business card I ever had a hand in making was when I was about 13 years old. It was for a friend of my Mom's who raised Arabian horses. She saw and liked a wild, whimsical horse I had drawn. She asked if she could use it on her business cards. I said yes, she paid me for the picture, the service bureau printed them on orange cardstock and I was on my way to designing more business cards!
